Job Description:  

Over 42,000 digital mammograms are performed annually.  Mammographers may be from 50 – 100% breast focused, as desired.  The department has an all-digital environment with a 64-slice CT scanner and fully integrated PACS interpretation.  Two more 64-slice scanners and 3T MRI are due next year.  In addition to digital mammography with CAD, the department includes breast ultrasound, breast MRI with CAD and PET-CT.  Active interventional breast service includes stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI guided biopsies.  Clinic hours are 8 AM – 5 PM.

Job Description:  

Administrative duties include directing the chest section of the radiology resident teaching program, evaluation and institution of new protocols for chest imaging, and overall management of quality of chest imaging, including QA.  There are twelve radiologists who interpret body CT and all twelve interpret some chest CT.  Clinical research and teaching opportunities are available through Tufts Medical School.  Interventional procedures are optional.
